Lindsey Williams, a patriot and an ordained Baptist minister of 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary. The Trans-Alaska oil pipeline began its construction phase in 1974, With the full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company, he volunteered to serve as Chaplain because he was concerned for the spiritual welfare of the men working on the pipelines, He was given access to inside information and firmly believes that whoever controls energy controls the economy. He has written a book: The Energy Non-Crisis.
There have been accounts that claim Williams is a fraud. But, as with many of Williams' claims that can't be verified, neither can his debunkers. Only time will tell if his predictions pan out.
